The Group ventured into automobiles when Mr. P V Abdul Wahab joined Indus Motor Company as a shareholder and Director in 1993 and assumed controlling interest and chairmanship in 1998.

Their flagship company Indus Motors Private Limited was incorporated in 1984 by Late Ibrahim Haji and Late T.M. Nair, both esteemed professionals in the business world who steadily upheld their principles and values without compromise.

The automobile portfolio of the Group has expanded from the most recognized automobile brand, Maruti Suzuki to encompass the globally acclaimed luxury brand, Mercedes-Benz, the recently introduced Nexa brand, Ashok Leyland commercial vehicles, premium and popular two wheelers, pre-owned vehicles to leasing and renting services.

The launch of the NEXA and INVICTO range of vehicles marks Indus’ entry into the luxury segments.
